I saw in the recent YouTube video a walleye was caught. When was the last time anyone caught a walleye out of Texoma? I read about them being in the lake years ago, but haven’t heard of them still being around for a while.

Been on the lake my whole life been a guide for 29 years only the second true walleye I have caught I’ve only heard of a couple more and I have also got a couple of Saugeye over the years people always try to say there is a resident population but I believe they just wash in randomly from Oklahoma lakes just like the hybrids

Ok I found it. Probably wouldn't have known what it was without you pointing it out. Thanks

Lake Waurika has a good population of walleyes.

Had 2 caught in my boat in the early 70’s. On on a worm by N Island and the other on a Bayou Boogie by Mill Creek. Pottsboro Sportsman club stocked some in the late 60’s- early 70’s.

I wish TPWD would develop a stocking program for Saugeye. I think they would be a better fish for some lakes than Hybrids or Striper.
I like Catching stripers but I think they clear the lake of bait unless its a super fertile lake like Texoma.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.
