OK......so is there anywhere a landlocked guy (with a float tube) like me can drop a line these days with out the flooded parks etc.
I'd like to go fishin'.......! I haven't been in a while (like most of us in North Texas !!!!!)

have you tried denton northlakes ponds. one has lots of lilly pads and theres some big bass in there
PB largemouth- 7lb
PB buffalo- 9 lb
PB common carp-7.5 lb
PB channel cat-7 lb
pretty weak now but lots more to come hopefully

I live in Haltom City and take glenview over fossil creek on my way home in the afternoon. It's crazy shallow assuming it's not a raging torrent way over it's banks flooding houses and parks like it's done servel times this spring. I don't know what if anything is in it, but man I need to try it out.
The size of the probable misquito population has thus far kept me away.
