Well.....in my opinion, Boyd is the one that looks like an idiot here. He's the president, he makes the rules. So he broke his own rule he put in place.

A quick check into Ducketts' recent performances will show if he had any advantages, they really are not helping him.

Heard he was fishing with his grandson for crappie off his own dock. If that’s the case, big whoop. 10 minute penalty is fine.

He wants the attention that Poche is getting. Good, bad, it’s still attention.

More guys might start taking advantage of the ten minute penalty to get more prefishing in.

3. MLF BASS PRO TOUR EVENT RULES:
a. The MLF Tournament Director oversees the interpretation and enforcement of these rules. If there is a rules violation, the Tournament Director along with the Rules Infraction Committee made up of the MLF Executive Vice President and General Manager and MLF Vice President of Operations will determine the angler’s penalty based on the Rules Infractions Policy (RIP). These penalties may include disqualification, loss of points and winnings, prohibition from participation in future MLF events and loss of fishing time. If a rule violation is determined to be a premeditated infraction (1st Degree), the angler will be penalized a minimum of 15 hours of fishing time. If a rule violation is determined to be an in the moment infraction (2nd Degree), the angler will be penalized a minimum of 7.5 hours of fishing time, not to exceed 14 hours. If a rule violation is determined to be an honest mistake infraction (3rd Degree), the angler will be penalized a minimum of 10 minutes of fishing time, not to exceed 7 hours. Any Bass Pro Tour Angler can file an appeal of a 1st Degree penalty with the Tournament Director. An appeal must be submitted in writing to the tournament director within 72 hours of initial notification. Penalties in the 2nd and 3rd Degree are non-appealable. In the case of an appeal, the five (5) person Appeals Board made up of the MLF President and CEO, MLF Executive Vice President and General Manager, MLF Vice President of Operations, an MLF Tournament Director (other than the Bass Pro Tour Tournament Director) and the MLFAA Executive Director will determine if the appeal will be upheld or dismissed.

LOL, Who Cares? I don't understand why people get so butthurt about this stuff. That's their rule. It's the same for everyone. They've all agreed on it. Or at least their angler reps agreed on it. So why whine about it?

I know one thing, MLF is growing on me since they went to 5 fish. They’re live coverage is much better than Bassmaster. Way fewer commercials and I like the fact they move cameras around based on who’s catching em or on the cut bubble. No mo little fish tour!

A crappie guru told me that if you want to catch big bass, learn to crappie fish.. I see big girls at the bottom of crappie brush all the time, but getting them to bite is another story. I would say he had his head up his behind if it was an honest mistake, or that is what I would tell a friend if they did the same. I DQ'd myself this year from an NTX because I was on the water too long, I thought off limits was the next day.. I would say a 10 minute time out is exactly what it is, a Libtard punishment. Time out doesn't work, a DQ for the day is more of what I would say is fair to the other fisherman/Fisherwomen.
