Budilicious sounds like "Buttilicious" a bit to much.

It might be time to scuttle the brand for 15-25 years then bring it back with all new re-design. You know like they did the Camaro and all those Dodge cars, and every movie and TV show these days. All re-makes. No one has any more good ideas.

I mean PBR got popular again after years of being nothing but the cheapest beer you could buy! Now because of its branding of being poor country peoples beer, it demands a premium price! Go figure. Bud Light can maybe shoot for something like that.

Light Pilsners are on their out anyways. They will never again be huge like they were 20 years ago. Its like what Podcasts, downloads and streaming did to FM radio and TV.... Too many options out there for people to have a mediocre product. There is something for every single niche. To hell with one size fits all.

Another poll option should be "Are you crazy? I'm not touching that stuff!" or "Would you buy it if they gave you a free training bra with every 30 pack?".

I switched to Bud Light Lime.

Calling Bud light mediocre is very kind. People have been calling it Buttlight and Nearwater for millions of years.
People haven’t been drinking it because it tastes good. It sold well because Budweiser spent enormous sums of money advertising it. They had excellent, maybe the very best marketing until recently.

They now have a severe brand rejection issue. The most recent other example of this was universally disliked New Coke. Coca Cola realized their mistake and quickly abandoned the line and rebranded with Classic.

Rename it Budilicious, manufacture some top notch commercials, make President Trump and The Rock your highest paid influencers and people will buy it again.

Bud Light is dead to me.

Noticed at the grocery this week, big displays of Michelob Ultra which is made by AB. Maybe they’re trying to shift people from Bud Light to Ultra.

Agree with Dan, all this is a signal that the woke pendulum has started to swing back in the other direction. It's taken far too long.

Nike didn't see the financial losses that AB has seen plus Nike was not having to financially reimburse their vendors for lost income as AB has done.
