I heard of it from an old time member. He told me that 98.3% of the folks on here were good folks. That and I could always use tips on catching fish.

I thought it would make me a better fisherman

I was just browsing the internet looking for fishing info. I had just bought a boat. It was the best fishing site then just like it is now. I'm proud of being a charter member. And believe it or not I was a mod for awhile. The christmas parties we had years ago at Joe Pool were awesome. The amount of toys and money was crazy. Great memories. I felt really blessed to be a part of the Christmas toy drive for the kids. I will never forget the joy I experienced giving the toys away.
