[quote=Mudshark]I’m in a dispute with a contractor as well. Last year, they scraped the popcorn off out ceiling and went back with a slight orange peel. We did that through the entire house. I had the guy’s brother give me a quote to come back and paint them, We tried to hire him to paint but he ghosted us and would never come to do the job. Fast forward to last week, I had a different contractor come in to paint the ceilings and the texture started coming down in sheets. Now both contractors are pointing the finger at each other. We are having them both over for a meeting tomorrow. Let’s hope that doesn’t go south.[/quot
Going to be hard to get anyone to admit to it but most likely there was a film of dust on the ceiling after they removed popcorn texture. In my professional opinion it should have been swept clean of dust and then primed before the texture was sprayed. If that had been done the ceilings could have sit with no paint for many years and the texture would never come loose unless it got wet.

I hate to hear that. I ordered a flash board riser from them several months ago and had no problems.

I hate to hear that. I ordered a flash board riser from them several months ago and had no problems. I have spent thousands on screw gates/beaver guards, previous owner bought 4 6 man blinds and we were about to buy 3-4 more big pit blinds. never a problem before this. they lost my business from here on out, not good when a co. can't pay a refund they offered.
