With all the excitement in SW Texas about the predicted precipitation, maybe you'd like to enter a contest to win a fabulous prize from Falcon Lake Tackle, for guessing the amount of rain (or closest to) that will fall here in Zapata.
We are not the center of the predicted bullseye, but we are allegedly going to get some decent rains.
Rainfall will be measured at my home gauge, on the NW side of Zapata. Final reading will be taken on Monday the 15th, at 6:15 am...
Please make your guesses in the form of inches and hundredths, ie: 4.36 inches..
Winner will receive a brand new (at one time) Quantum 1310 MG reel.. With Dynamag cast control and preloaded with some braid that is about ten years old.. This is a top-of-the-line piece of equipment. (About twenty years ago)
Guesses must be submitted by 5:00 PM tomorrow, Friday May 12th..
