I honestly was never that impressed by the guy the few times I listened to his spiel. He seemed to be playing to his audience and saying what "they" want to hear...and that doesn't necessarily mean he was telling the whole story or the whole truth....just giving part of the story it seemed to me sometimes. But then again I don't need some taking head on tv telling me what to think. I can form my own opinions...like most adults do.

The Murdochs don't control Musk. They may have Musk money one of these days when they grow up. For now all they can do is sit and watch as their media company dries up and blows away. Oh, well, to paraphrase Obama....actions have consequences. When you get rid of your #1 on air personality you run the risk of him having 52 million views elsewhere.

Maybe they can go full blown left and fill out their roster of commentators that way. I hear Don Lemon is available, and what a steal he would be. CNN was regularly drawing audiences that approached the population of Bakersfield when Don was one of their main attractions.

CNN is throwing a fit- they wonder who is going to control him… at this point legacy media is such a joke, they have a major PR problem and cannot be trusted.

Freedom of speech is such an extremely dangerous thing. Speech of any kind is only acceptable when the left controls it. What we have here is a Code Red, approaching a Defcon 1 emergency.

How is this a freedom of speech issue? Your free speech right is protected from the government violating it, not your employer.

When Twitter was under previous ownership the FBI advised them to avoid allowing "Russian disinformation". The last time I checked the Department of Justice is part of the federal government.
