that’s almost as high as SJB’s disapproval rating

and again a poll of a tiny minority is supposed to represent the entire country on a subject like guns?

doesn't pass the smell test, they also need to read the 4473 form as it already addresses mental illness and abusers, both are a no go if answered yes.

there can not be universal background checks, scotus has already deemed federal gun registration mandate to be unconstitutional.

Is a National Gun Registry constitutional?
Federal law prohibits a universal, national gun registry. [4] Eight states prohibit state-level gun registries. Only Hawaii requires registration of all firearms, while only a few states require registration of certain firearms. Only three states (Ill., Mass., and N.J.) require a license for all guns.

First of all, gun laws have zero impact on violent criminals, just like drug laws have no impact on the dustribution or use of drugs.

Second, look at the rank of states by strictness of their gun laws. Numbers 1,2,4,7 and 8 are the most violent states in terms of firearms deaths and yet they have the toughest laws. If gun laws worked, these should be the safest states, shouldn’t they?

https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/strictest-gun-laws-by-state

Third, the Democrats could care less about victims or their families because no matter what laws are on the books, they do not want violent offenders prosecuted, imprisoned or executed. They only want the laws to prevent law abiding citizens from purchasing firearms.

The main goal of the Democratic state and federal legislators is to make themselves look good and this is why they partner with the media and Hollywood on the gun control issue, just like they portray Christians and patriots as homophobic bigots. Guns, God and the Constitution are the three major obstacles to the Left’s ambitions.

As far as Texas, remember, the media is blasting every gun story possible as long as it takes place in Florida or Texas. The reality is that Texas ranks #20 in terms of homicides per capita out of the 50 states. So all the screaming about Texas murders is a mistepresentation of the truth since there are 19 other states with a more serious homicide issue.

In spite of the above, the FBI is deploying more agents in Texas on state jurisdiction shootings while they leave the massacres in Chicago, Los Angeles, Baltimore, St. Louis, etc. in the hands of local LEO.

Bottom line is gun control = climate change = transgender = manufactured issues
