Anyone have or used a Kistler Zbone. I was wondering the weight, balance and sensitivity compared to NRX+

Not as good, just like 99.9% of the rods out there are not as good as an NRX+

You seem on this quest to find something better than an NRX+

There are rods as good, but not really any better overall in that category of rod.

Shimano Conquest
Dobyns Xstacy
Diawa Steez
MegaBass Destroyer

Are all as good as an NRX+, but not sure if any of them including the NRX+ are any better than the other top end rods.

I just hate the color scheme of the NRX. Shimano should make a NRX+ black edition

Doug you really didn’t just compare a Dobyns to an NRX did you?

Use the black shrink grips and cut the size of the cork. That’s what I’ve done on most of mine and my 3 Conquest!

Is the NRX+ more sensitive than the older NRX? I have a couple of the NRX rods and the other rods I have that seem to be the only ones close to it in sensitivity are the Shimano Adrena, Daiwa Steez, and the Megabass Destroyer.

You have a new Power Tackle rod on order. What exactly are you looking for?

Just ask, what is the most sensitive rod on the market? Price does not matter.

100%, I’ve owned most of the higher end rods at one time or another. Not a lot of difference in upper tier rods. Biggest factor is that the rod and reel are balanced and compliment each other in my opinion.
O
The only one I won’t own again is power tackle. My fishing partner had a few break and if they were over 1 year there was not any kind of warranty or partial replacement. All others offer a more consumer friendly warranty program.

All your buddy had to do is call Judy and she would have made it right. I’ve owned 30+ PT and if I broke one it was on me. To compare any Dobyns garbage to high end is funny though.

Power Tackle rods do not break unless it is your fault.......or your{ "partners" } fault.

He did call and told her it was 100% on him, yet she told him the rod was 14 months old so there was not anything she could do, it's her company and it's all good. All other "higher end" rod companies offer some kind of supplemental warranty. He bought all NRXs and had a fire sale on his PTs. You can replace any NRX for a fee. So it's not about "who it's on".

You are a Dobyns hater and a PT fanboy, it's all groovy. laugh.

I am not a brand *hore, so it's all good.

Calm down EJ, nobody said it was the rod manufacturers fault.
