Slight upgrade. Hummingbird 1158 went out. Bought a cheap used 1199c hd. No place for Ethernet plug in on the 1199. The 1158 has a round male threaded port for cable. Not sure what to do. It is all hooked up to ultrex if it matters.

The hour-glass shaped port is the Ethernet port. You need the AS EC QDE Ethernet Adapter to connect an Ethernet cable to that unit. It was a change to full quick-disconnect that is used in the Helix series now==don't have to unscrew the Ethernet cable to remove the unit.
Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3, Helix 10 MEGA DI+ GPS G3N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1

Thank you for your reply. Someone told me it couldn’t be done. So it will plug into the left of the unit by itself. 5 prong I believe.
