Fished April 28th and 29th.
Wind was absolutely Brutal.
Had to stay in the Devils river to escape it.
Fished shallow wind blown banks with blood bait.
Ended up with 20 channels for the weekend. First time to fish the lake and we didn't get to explore it due to the wind.

Devils river is your only prayer when the wind is blowing. You get out on the main body of the lake with it blowing, you can loose site of land in the bottom of the trough lol... Sounds like you did ok to me, considering that kind of weather. We need rain in West Texas and bad, we get that with run off water, the fishing will be ON!
