Only a 3k difference in pay for a licensed guy? Doesn’t seem to value a license very much .

The pay scale listed is the range for starting pay as I mentioned in my original post

So if you can hold a screw driver and a hammer and have the ability to operate a pair of pliers your starting pay would be at the low end of the scale.
Versus a guy with 2 or more years experience he would start at the high end of the starting pay scale.

In other words we will start you at the pay rate that corresponds to your experience and ability, and what is posted is the starting pay rate.

Yes sir I understood it. Anybody can turn a screwdriver you get 43k, a green journeyman gets 47k, just seems the licensed trades are undervalued.

This is a serious question because I’m curious - what do you start your experience, licensed electricians at?

I changed many plugs out, as well as some ceiling fans and exterior lights in my day. Vanity lights as well. Even installed a plug on the wall where there was not one. As you can see, I have mad skills. For the record only shocked myself twice it was not too bad. Like a bee sting is all.

I have transportation and and basic hand tools, valid DL, I9 documents etc. etc.

Whats my rate?

Good luck I’m having to pay apprentice techs more than that and supervisors over $100k.

I can assure you they are not undervalued. They are rare to find these days and when you find a good one you have to break the bank wide open and hope they don’t have 2 other offers and get into a bidding war.

As a licensed electrician (20+ years)I wouldn't even look at less than 100k.
Just saying.
