This is the kind of situation that'll drive a man into madness.

Think about it……if they could read a note they probably wouldn’t be working as a trash collector

Trash cans make a good brush pile base. Dump in a bag of quickrete, some rocks, add water and then PVC and trees.
Drill some big holes in the PVC and trashcan for the smaller fish to swim through and extra paracord tying down of the trees and PVC.

I recommend doing the predrilling at home, then bring the quickrete, big rocks, paracord, pre drilled garbage can, and predrilled PVC to the lake and assemble at the lake with big tree limbs that have "fallen down recently". That way you aren't driving around with a monster brush pile in the back of your truck down the interstate.

Some fat old hag had a nasty, gnarly-arse trashcan that Trash, Inc. route guys mistook for garbage, and picked it up. She went apes*** and sued Trash, Inc. and the trash guys individually, and won. As a result, Trash, Inc. went belly up and the trash guys had to file for bankruptcy.

Thanks to that fat old hag, getting the trash company to take your trash can is almost impossible.

Write the note on the can to throw it away in Spanish. That got mine gone.
