I dont think our South Texas lakes have been 77% full in years! They should open it now!

Keep it closed till it's full and they have done whatever it was they had to do once full. The fishing will be biblical and several good spawns coming on. The juice will be worth the squeeze.

THSBA North Texas division has a tournament scheduled there 3/2/24.
Hopefully, it's open.

Looks like the water level fell half an inch. They may be pumping

Why in the heck would THSBA schedule a tournament on a lake that you can’t put anything over 16” in your livewell unless it’s 13 lbs or more… then you can only retain for the SAL program. Atleast at Fork if you catch a 24” fish you can put it in the box and take it to weigh in.

I forgot about this... I love the "where caught" clause. No relocating those large fish or the "glory bag" photo at the end of the day.

Hoping the slot and regulations on this lake will keep all the tourneys away. Most don’t do paper tourneys and will refuse so should keep the fishing great!

Where are they going to launch from? The biggest ramp only has about 50 parking spots. This is way to small of a lake for highschool tournaments.
