My son was obsessed with “diggers” as he called them when he was little. So, I found some plans on-line to build him a custom Front End Loader bed to sleep in once he was done with his crib. He absolutely loved it, but sadly has out grown it and want a big boy bed now.

Thought I would give TFF and THF a shot for a couple of weeks before I deal with the characters on FB market place.

Bed is very heavy duty. It will take two grown men to move it unless I completely disassemble it, which I don’t want to do. I’d rather take it apart with the buyer as shown below, so they understand how to reassemble. I will help disassemble and load. Depending on where the buyer lives I’ll even offer to help reassemble if you need help.

Bed size is a twin. It has a memory foam mattress that’s had a cover over it its entire life with zero accidents on the mattress. Mattress goes with the bed.

The only thing currently missing are the lights. Which are easy to buy and replace.

$750 for bed and mattress which is more than I have in materials.

Thanks rb. It was a fun project, but I spent more time sanding the wheels on this bed than I care to remember.

Very Cool! Too bad my grandsons are getting a little old for it. Also, I would start World War III at my daughter's house if I got it for the youngest one and not the older one (6 and 8). Or visa-versa.
