I'm sitting here at the end of Bob Hall Pier...got 3 lines in the water...it's 5:40 in the morning...I drove here straight from Dallas after work yesterday...all I've caught is one little hardhead...where are the fish?

Sorry about the multiple posts. That's what I get for using my phone for internet on the pier. I wound up catching a small hammerhead, lots of hardhead, and when the lights come on, I caught some really nice trout freelining live croaker in the surf. I saw a kingfish tear up a perch on top right in front of me...too bad that perch didn't have my hook in him.

By the way...for anyone who cares. Bob Hall Pier was taken over by it's new owners over the weekend. The grill was down for a couple of days but I talked to the new owner before he left for the night on Saturday and he said he was gonna be open Sunday morning for breakfast for sure. He also said that he'd start getting his shipment of ice by today. Maybe one of you locals can report on whether not it's in full swing there and maybe even a fishing report if you have one.

Yup, Bob Hall is there for sure. I saw it for the first time last month, since Hurricane Carla, ( a LONG time ago) ..when I used to live there. It sure brought back memories from when I was a tyke, building sandcastles about 200 yards south of it.

Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

Oldfrog - from reading your signature, any chance you are a cop? Cause if not - dude, you gotta stop hanging out with the wrong people or get out of the repo business!
