Again please explain which rules you just want to make optional, they can have a big meeting afterwards for voting on all penalties and dqs.... it would make for great youtube watches. Your position on this is the dumbest thing I have ever read on the tff and that is saying alot.

here's an example of tournament guys taking a vote that cost each of them some money to award first place to the right fishermen....
..
"we had somewhat of a similar situation at a tournament on Eufaula(Al.) several years ago....tourny was held out of lakepoint landing and probably 98% of weigh-ins are held beside the marina where they have a stage and bleacher seats...this was a benefit tourny put on to raise funds for something(don't recall what) but they decided to hold weigh-in in parking lot near boat launch and claimed they had starter boat inform everybody...problem was nobody could hear the strter boat announce this so the guys with heaviest bag were couple minutes late because they went to wrong weigh-in site....guys in charge of tournament were not real experienced in running tournys but they did smart thing and asked for input from top ten finishers and we all voted to not penalize the winners because of the confusion about weigh-in site"....

incidently, the only two who voted against not penalizing the winners were the two guys who would have won if there hadn't been a vote....

no idea where he's from and no connection to the man whatsoever....my viewpoint has been and still is, is that there are numerous instances of Texas and other states screwing up the purchase of licenses on-line and there was enough of a chance that the winner bought the license correctly and the system screwed up...

If the angler didn’t have it in his pocket, or in his phone as a photo, the only thing that screwed up was the angler.

Whenever I buy ANYTHING online, I get a screen shot of the final invoice, an email confirmation, or SOMETHING….even get a text from my bank showing the debit transaction. There was no excuse that could replace some form of proof.

what the hell do you mean a troll?...I am trying to ignore insults and have a reasonable civil debate about something that we are going to see more in future tournaments as our reliance on cell phones for all of our transactions increases...and please note that i have not retaliiated with derogatory or insulting remarks toward anyone...

I am in my mid 50's and I bet you are one I would consider a "boomer".

Face the fact that things in the world and the technology evolve.

This is not survivor and you cannot vote people on and off the island

Beartrap you keep mentioning computers screwing up. I'm 65 and I can tell when a mistake or something is wrong. And every time it's my fault. I do not do anything or assume anything unless I get a confirmation numer or email. I get a confirmation or email if i spend 3.95. This guy was fishing for 100 grand. Are you trying to say he registered for his license to fish for 100 grand and got no receipt or confirmation number or print out ? Your smarter then that and have to have more common sense then that . Do you you have any evidence or can you tell us how many people you personally know that have had a similar problem on a computer.

I believe there is 7 mentions of people with license/transaction problems on BBC forum thread and couple on here...I know of 3 beside myself who had problems a few years ago here in Georgia....one of the problems in my area is that not many places sell licenses and if you go to wal-mart the sporting goods section may not have anybody on duty to write licenses....that was mentioned by the man who got disqualified and he tried at walmart but then had to try to do his icenses himself with his phone...
