Since I backpack my fishing equipment and routinely hike a mile or more. There was no way I was going to hump one of those heavy folding chairs from Wal-Mart.

Decided to get one of the best, 'Camping' chairs made. I've been using it for a year and half. I haven't treated it gently either. I wanted to pass on my review for those looking for a really nice chair. It has a crazy poundage rating (350#) and one hell of a warranty. When you see chairs like this. They're a copy of the Helinox.

3.5 pounds and if you're going to use it on muddy ground. It requires their, "Ground Sheet" to keep the legs from sinking in the mud.

They're not cheap but are definitely worth it. The one pictured in their Sunset model with a high back.

Here's an update.

Since spring started and all the mud.

Advise. When you get back home. Unzip the carrying bag and let the mud dry. Keeps things from getting funky.

With the Ground sheet. You can sit in mud. Sticky, stinky smelling, soft mud (That'll cake your boots) and this sheet keeps the chair from sinking. Pretty inventive.

Me and this chair have made friends. It goes where I go.
