I am looking for a guide for my dad and I on Ray Roberts. We are both avid bass fisherman but haven't been able to fish together in a long time.

Who do you recommend?

Another vote for Danny Golden. I don't know if there are too many guides on Roberts. Lindy Roberts was one, but he retired a number of years ago.

There was a fireman that guided on RR and was really good there. I cannot remember his name.

Dannie Golden is one of the best guides you will ever fish with.

He is booked out pretty good from my last conversation with him but worth the wait!

There are not too many guides on that lake that are brave enough to guide for bass lol. The only one I know is Danny, I think his son guides there as well. That should be a great time to go.

Dannie Golden is the man at RR - he was the first bass guide I ever took, our best five went for close to 45LBs

He's short, ugly and smells like cabbage but there is no other guide on Ray Bob I would ever fish with than Dannie. A great friend and guessing we've spent at least 30-40 days on the water together on something like 5 or 6 lakes.
