Depends on what motor you have and the lithium has to be a “cranking approved” model, which there isn’t many of them.

The X2 agm is almost $600 and can’t hold a candle to the 125 Ionic. Speaking from experience.

I put 3 agm-31 series in my boat last year. The one thing I was after is a completely sealed battery. Man I am done with all that acid and vapor getting in the rigging compartment. Even with the door open, I hate those old batteries flashing off vapor.

I will say though I am not as impressed in my 31 series batteries as I had expected. These didn't cost that much money, and they do have some serious weight to each of them. I run jackplate on my rig and if I had a 4-stroke on the tail of her, I might need a snorkel at idle lol. My old 2-stroke doesn't weigh that much and she does fine.

The otherside of this, my old 2-stroke doesn't have as healthy charging circuit as the newer engines, so it does require more run time to charge up the cranking battery too. I would like to run those 125 Ionic batteries, but I can't foot the note for those in my pointed head. I have no doubt they are impressive.

steez, my neighbor in guthrie was an oilfield hand, did it all his life pretty much since his dad was a driller then a tool pusher.

anyhow, I bought some of those flyswatters on clearance and was giving all the neighbors one for the fun of it. eddie, the roughneck, and family including his inlaws (my landlords more or less) were all on the front porch. the porch, just for reference is about 4' off the ground and has another 42" handrail so overall it is about 8' to the dirt.

eddie takes said electric flyswatter and opens it and activates the battery, barely touches the screen and gets nothing. at this point he claims I got him a dud and proceeds to prove it by (this time) pushing the magic button as he put it to his tongue.

they will flat put a 6' 4" 325# oilfield hand in the dirt from 8'.

he got in about 3/4 of a back flip, face plant in the rose bushes.

they do work. roflmao
