Just thinking of barrels of dead carp and really big search lights with really loud speakers from said drag race.

He was running around 3 weeks ago when we were up there. Freaking ridiculous how loud that boat is! Sounded like he was right on us but had to focus to see the dot moving across the horizon. Pretty sure I would lose it if he was buzzing my cove on a regular basis.

I bet there are some at Fork that wish all of you from other areas and other states would have stayed where you are from,

Let him know you appreciate him taking out those rough fish and love that he is enjoying the lake in a manner that he digs, loud boats and arrowing fish is cool stuff for sure...but perhaps slow it down when you come up around my place?

Let him know it's loud and wakes you and your family.

Like a mutual respect thing, but then again I am city folk. I talk to my neighbors and we work stuff out like adults.

They will have no one to blame but themselves when they get banned from running them. Nothing wrong with mufflers…sounds like a helicopter in your living room when they are a mile away.

It really does… I’m all for people having fun, but this is another level of loud.

I am not sure who it is, that I have heard out there. I have an idea from a very old post that I came across about the same thing. There was someone who was taking credit and he said that he talked to police and they told him he wasn't breaking a law so he did not care.. believe me, there is no way anyone would be driving that boat and not know that he was bothering people just trying to sleep or relax. I doubt talking to him would change anything.

I have fished Fork at night for years and never heard anyone on the lake like this so am hoping that it is just a temporary inconvenience.

We had a place at Fork from 1985-2002 the bow hunters in airboats were going on even that far back. Our lake house sat way off the water up a hill still would wake me up but never considered it a big deal.

why not talk to airboat owner,explain problem with noise waking people up and ask him to put mufflers on his rig…..if he doesn’t,get leaf blower and march up and down road in front his house in mid morning….

Air Boat Woke 2023

Should be fisherman harassment.

Got ran out of the mouth of Little Caney one night. Air boat was running all between Alligator and Deadman Point cove. So loud, it would rattle the world.

Surprised no one has met him at the boat ramp to "talk" with him. One of the guys parks at the 154 public boat ramp at night.

Probably doesn't have catalytic convertors on his truck either, and he never even noticed after being on that boat a few minutes.
