I dont have it yet but I guess I will be getting it shortly. My problem with it and I have been in boats that have it, is this. To me, it takes away all the mystery of fishing. Throwing at a stump and wondering if you will get bit. I never really thought about why I love fishing so much, I just do. But, for me, that was the exciting part, figuring out a pattern, making a cast not knowing if there was a fish along the rip rap or not, but then catching one. Nowadays you just stare at a screen and basically, much like bed fishing, you just keep casting at a fish until you get it to bite. Im not a fan at all. But Im much older than most of you guys and I get that. Cant really compete in tournaments anymore unless you have it, or so it seems. Weights have skyrocketed for almost all tournaments that Ive seen, as more and more people learn the intracacies of it and how to use it. I dont like it and does sort of depress me that I am going to have to use it in order to compete.

I have it, I don't use it as much as others though. I like shallow water fishing better. I don't think it's destroying tournament fishing though.

FFS is like a pair of Air Jordan’s when you had some Chuck Taylors- you still ain’t playing like Mike…. Personally I enjoy having it, broke my mount one day and didn’t realize how much I used it until it wasn’t there.

Lots of times you still cannot see the fish if they are holding tight to cover or to the bottom. A lot of our lakes have dirty water snd the images are not as good as in the clearer lakes.
I have it now and had it on my last boat, it's def intriguing.

It neither depresses or enthuses me. It's interesting technology that I have no desire to own as it I don't believe it will make me a better shallow water angler.

After 30 years of tournament fishing, I have learned that if I'm worried about what other folks are doing - I've already lost.

Get back to us when it solves the mystery of why that fish I see still won’t bite.

I have it now and don't even turn it on. It is kind of hard to read bass fishing, for me. Does work great for crappie fishing though. I need to just take some time and learn to use it more.

I have it and I still suck. I guess you could call that depressing. I've been on the water a half dozen times with mine so far, no where near dialed in on it. Yet to be seen on how it helps or detracts from my fishing. BTW senior citizen level now, so we shall see!
