I am pretty neutral on Milliken overall but just felt it fair to point out the first few 6-8 lbers he caught at Ivie were on 6lb test and 3" swimbaits. I think he is versatile enough to figure out what those FFS fish will eat.

If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its rear end every time it jumped.

Yeah it will!! He’s already helped himself and other sell a [censored] ton!! If he wins the C, it will break records. He’s a great fisherman that isn’t holding back. I believe he’s more versatile than most would think also away from ffs. Only thing I don’t like is the click bait on a few videos…… he’s the real deal as far as fishing goes though.

Ben has come a long way since he was in my club here in Nebraska. Congrats to his success and I wish him well. Always like him but don’t believe everything in his videos and I quit watching them. Shortly before moving to Texas he trespassed into a private lake spillway but posted he was hours west of there. Several of us that have property on this lake recognized the area and knew he was trespassing. Him and his camera guy were fined and he pulled the video. Saying this he was very apologetic and paid coleslaw’s fine as well. Because of this I choose not to watch the vids and not to mention when I did they were a lot of clickbait. Again, congrats to his win

I get the feeling he will end his career with dumb mistake on camera.

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

He's killing it on both ends. He makes more from YouTube than any tournament. So the more content he creates by winning, the more he makes on YouTube which gets more followers that buy more baits . It's literally the perfect scheme

Totally agree. I've watched him on YT for years and I totally respect his skill sets. I've only met him once and don't really know that much about him, personally. TO me, one of the most intriguing things about the guy is how he has really thought outside the box to get to where he is. Most pros go throught the usual way of fishing club, regional, national tournaments and picking up a sponsor here and a sponsor there, guiding and just grinding it out. With him, he made the coin first and then tried to show his worth. Like his unconventional approach.

He's a great angler, there's no denying it.
He's falling into the old trap of becoming a pitchman for certain products more and more. I noticed he's still using the Hinkle and not the 6th Sense Draw when money is on the line though. So...that tells you something.
Nevertheless, he's making a living doing what he loves and has put plenty of work into getting where he is. His old videos are still informative and fun to watch. Hope he goes far, as speaking for myself, he's done a lot more to inspire me to try things like A-rigs and FFS than any of the other guys out there hawking them.

Lol he isn’t a pitchman like the Martins, he had a much more subtle way of doing it.

I know there are others like Crews and Clouse, but Ben owns a piece of a lot of the companies he pitches. He stated that on the 1st Mercer podcast.

Thought I was going to be able to minister and pray with Ben earlier this year and watched something amazing take place on the water only to find out he launched his boat where you were instructed not to launch and by the time I drove to the other side of the lake he was gone.
Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
