Removable dual console only because its a selling point. Look honey, it has a console for you to block the wind and weather........ Bring boat home, remove console and put on self in garage until its time to sell boat. Thats how to do it right there!

Doesn't make a difference either way... Had many duals and now have a single... Dan

I think 20' is the perfect size boat. At least it is for me. It's a bit more maneuverable in timber and around docks. You don't really give up much on deck space or rough water ride either.
Single console all the way.

I used to be inconsiderate and figured if you wanted a console buy your own boat. That was until I rode in a single console boat that would actually run----Made up my mind after a long haul I would NEVER put someone thru that torture.

But it only took my one long, cold, and wet ride as a co-angler to decode that I would have a dual console for my family and a team partner. If I only fished solo tournaments with no co-angler, I’d probably go with a single console.

I My wife fishes with me so I have a dual but it is removable, my boat is big so the second console does not bother me at all.

Single console really only helps on boats under 20'. With a 20' the dual doesn't get in the way. I had a 18.7' boat and wished the console could be removed and now I how a 20' that is removeable but I leave it on. Glovebox is also nice to have.

Co angler who fishes out of my buddies large Jaguar and I don’t want the second console. You get used to all the extra space.

I voted single but would buy a dual with removable.
I fish out of a 19' single but fish by myself 90% of the time.

always a single in all my boats... I'm buying the boat for me, as prior said there is no denying the usable space you gain from a single... i don't fish derbys anymore and my wife rarely goes, so by choice its just me anyway... back when I was a young man before I could afford a boat I did a lot of non-boat fishing in federated bass club derby's and I was happy to get in a single because it gave me more room to move around, I didn't have to wait for the boater to get out of his seat and go to the front before I could step in-between the two consols and move to the back, with the single I was already on the back deck making a cast before the dude dropped the trolling motor - bueno ! one thing that has always stuck in my mind was when some fellow clubber who had a family and they wanted to get their first bass boat after being a non-boater for awhile, and they would get a boat that was configured as a "fish&ski", some of you youths prolly don't know what that is...well it is a bass boat that half the front deck was a padded seating area, it was sold as the "family" boat so everyone could enjoy it... LOL... and this happened prolly 96+% of the time, the wife and kids would go a few times and lose interest then the poor schlub was stuck with a crappy layout, and they would sound too sad when they said it was the biggest mistake...so that taught me a lesson early - don't buy a boat for someone else that will too infrequently use it !...my wife only goes on perfect days and she doesn't like to go fast, except in her Mustang convertible she has a lead foot... LOL
