Hey y’all! This is Colt Benedict. Owner of Jawtec Bait Company I am looking for a color that my father had sold back in the 80s-90s. The color is weird 82, from what I have seen in pictures it’s a light blue laminated against light pink. This color was way ahead of its time and I would love to bring it back properly.
I’m looking to get some in my hands so I can match it as close as possible. Anything will help! Thanks for the support and keep on busting em!
Good fishing, Colt Benedict

I caught my first big fish on a " weird 82 " wacky worm at Fork in 1986. I was 13, and it weighed 9.18... The worm, weight, and hook are still in the fish's mouth. So, I've got the color, although it's almost 40 years old.
I used to throw a wacky worm in this color back in the 80's as well. We used the Creme scoundrel color 82. I just looked on their website and it states its a Chameleon Blue. I might have some in my garage if you are unable to locate one. Hopefully FordBoy's worm hasn't faded over the years and it still has the original color to copy.
Ken A might have some. I'd also reach out to Retrobassin' on Instagram/Youtube. He has quite the collection of old school plastics. He may also know of a store in the regional area where he's seen a stash of them.
Would the color not have faded by now? Is it not just like morning dawn robo worm color?
Its pretty much the same. If i remember right it was the same pink as mornin dawn color with a little more purple on the bottom. At the time i remember getting them from toledo town when they had the worm bins and thats the only place you could get them
I will check and see if i have that color in my collection of stuff. I used Jawtec quite a bit long ago. Were they also called Bruce's baits? Did they ever have one called wacky finacky?
