He gave em a boot stompin. He was in his way to a four day/100 pound deal. Luckily, it was only a 3-day.

With the amount of sponsorship money with Lowrance, Garmin and Hummingbird FFS isn't going anywhere. It's here to stay like it or not. As far as Milliken goes 1 win in 2 tournaments does define greatness. I really don't know anything about him. Being from Texas I hope he does well. But those talking about greatness need to step back a bit.

I'm on medicare and I have had FFS for 6 months and have not seen a fish hit my lure. There is more to it than just putting it on your boat and becoming a pro.

Yep. People act like just anyone can buy one and ve a fishing star in an hour. roflmao

It's mostly the people our age and older who are mad that technology may have passed us by. It's so funny roflmao

Yep. I will happily pay for a day on the water and buy lunch to anyone that has never used it and think it's super easy to learn and use. They can hop in my boat and show me how easy it is.... roflmao

Mark your welcome anytime in my boat, have helped me via messages plenty of times over the years. I am no Ben Milliken but I am pretty handy with it now. But it took a while to figure it out!

I agree either you get one or like them or not it’s crazy to argue about it.

I told myself I would not be part of this discourse, but I can't seem to help myself.

I am on Medicare, I do have FFS and I HAVE seen fish come and get my lure and get them in the boat. I have watched a ton of YT Videos to LEARN!

Why? Simple, I have a 17-year-old grandson who has fished with me since he was 4 years old, a BONUS son who is 21 and has fished with me since he was 9.

Those are the ONLY reasons I need or want to use FFS. I did not buy the technology "just for me"...I bought it for them...they are the FUTURE...I am not. They are teaching this old man a few things and they still love to fish with Ole Pops!

NEVER get too old to learn and look beyond what "use to be". I still use "old school" methods and habits, but I REFUSE to get stuck in a time capsule!

CARRY ON!

It’s really good for seeing fish come look at the lure and swim the other way…😆

roflmao cheers

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Thats what I see mostly! They come off the tree and right up to my lure then follow it to the troll motor and swim away. If you have it tuned really well you can see them stick out their tongue at you! roflmao

This photo says it all. Photo cred: Bassmaster.com not Randy B’s cell phone as some may think. [Linked Image]

I’m surprised he ain’t wearing a sixth sense jersey- he didn’t talk about them much on the stage, he did mention others were throwing a c-rig but the way the hogwalla fell it got more bites, I wonder if that was his subtle way of marketing- I’m not buying it’s any better but they way he said it probably sells a lot of plastics.
