Looked like the same thing FFS and swimbaits. I clicked on his profile and he was born the year I graduated high school. roflmao

Just saw that , he’s only 18 years, that’s as amazing as what Millikan is doing.
Both leaders not really from Texas and dominating on the Bend.

I would not bet your life on it. The farther north you get the more they love regulation. It’s more of an issue with fish like crappie where it’s catch and eat. It has the potential to decimate the crappie population. I wouldn’t think it would be more than a small number of states that would ban it.

Or it could be that they have to cut the limits as creel surveys drop.

Grow the sport while making technology so much better puts a huge stress on the fish population. They could ramp up stocking. I don’t know want to see the sport grow in numbers but then I am not making my living off it either.

I can’t see there is zero reaction to FFS. For catch them it’s a game changer. Got to get eventually be some regulation changes

I think it will have zero effect on population as far as bass go. We've been trying to figure out these offshore fish for decades. For the most part they were never caught. I can't see someone pony up for FFS to catch something to keep unless it's Crappie.

Plenty of guys fishing for crappie have it. They can pick the crappie off the brush like magic with it. It’s going to put a dent in the crappie population for sure.

Hasn't FFS been a thing in the crappie world for 10 years or so and about 5 years in bass world?

I don't know of a major tournament this year that wasn't won using it and almost exclusively... sounds like Ben caught a couple c rig fish so cant say hes exclusively playing the game but in reality he completely is. I mean when it wins at the Big O Id say its gonna be a player in every single tournament for the future.

Banning it for the general public and tournament organizations banning or limiting it is two totally different situations, I could see a scenario where it is regulated in some shape or form in high level events, and it already is in old man tournaments.

Neither big league trail is gonna ban or limit it. Electronics companies pay sponsor dollars to both.

He’s been pretty dang impressive in his first two Opens. Would be shocked if he doesn’t qualify for the Elites this year.
Congrats to him.

A FFS clock that limits how many hours throughout the day anglers can use it on live would be a live improvement, can't really apply it unless their is an official in the boat like BPT though, don't see it working with a Marshall or co-angler. When its a scoping dominated event and they are just staring crook necked at their digital display I'm out. Not watching that sh*t.

Ben is getting all of the press right now & rightfully so. But Brett Cannon's back to back 3rd places & John Garrett's back to back 4th places is STRONG.

Keeping up with the EQ's this season will be fun to how it all plays out.

Why do you people want to "burn down" technology? Accept it, fishing has evolved and passed us by.

This is the 3rd dumbest thing I have ever heard in my 50+ years on the earth

Sounds too gimmicky and cheesy. How about if you want to use it then use it, if not then don't use it. If they start limiting stuff then the trophies need to come with asterisks.

They sell them at the store, go get yourself one then you won't have to gripe about it
