I fished the New Buccaneer last week and was able to hook the first tuna on a popper in a long time! Fought the fish for 3 min before he was gaffed...

That first drift was nuts, we caught multiple fish and lost several more all in the 80lb plus class. After that drift, they were gone and we could not find them anywhere. We hit Hoover, a drillship and Gunnison and nada...

Went on my first tuna trip last fall and scheduled again for this year! Weather was rough on our trip but I had a blast and caught my first tuna! Been stocking up on gear ever since!
