Heck, my guess is the boat houses and docks (that are large and have boats sitting in them) provide the only place the bass can get away from the relentless fishing pressure from the bank beaters.

For the development, I think it is less about grass on Fork and more about the natural shoreline being replaced by manicured lawns, sharp edges, docks and sea-walls.

Yep, lake is only about a foot low. Lots of brush and growth to fish!

Ramps are good, like said above, lake is about a foot low. Fishing is good right now for sure! You can catch them a bunch of different ways.

I was there last week during all the stormy weather. This was our best trip for bigger fish. Lots of 5 and 6 pounders with two 7's.
Most of ours came on top water (buzzbaits and showerblows) and chatterbaits. Seemed to be in the second grass line from the bank.

last weekend shad were stacked up in the brushlines on points with some bass blowing up on them. it was hard to get them to bite. there were also still a lot of fish on beds. we fished shad spawn friday morning and caught 4-5 fish. later we got up on the bank and saw a bunch still on beds. we were mainly just looking since we had a tournament on saturday. Saturday during the tournament we caught 25-30 fish total. some good unders and some big slot fish off of beds. it was too windy and cloudy to see them, so we backed off and threw buzzbaits and flukes at them all day. lost one that was 10+ pounds that we marked the day before. she bit and jumped 3 times within 10' of the boat before she came loose... still finished in the top 3 out of 120 in the tournament.
