Yes I have to wonder how many guys wrap their boats and wear jerseys for free. I guess it doesn’t effect me just seems kinda funny to see all the full boat wraps on guys that no one’s ever heard of.

Someone would have to pay me a lot of money to wrap my boat. Bass Boats these days are good lookin. There are some great scheemes out there. I don't get the wrap deal unless you are making a pretty penny off of it.

To be able to judge someone who is a "hammer", you should need to have skins on your wall.

Please. post your past tournament accomplishments

Good grief. I’m not knocking the guy. Maybe I used a poor choice of words. All I was trying say is he has not won on the national stage yet. I’m not ready to put him up there with guys like Ish and Lane. He is a hammer but maybe not Elite yet? Is that fair? Ben definitely has more skillz than all of us combined!

As far as my accomplishments tournament fishing….how about a big fat nothing burger.

If you are going to critique pro tournament anglers you should at the least have a few local wins on your resume.

So many people here have never won sh** and yet they are experts on tournament fishing.

Just my opinion 2cents

He may have not proven himself on the professional stage yet, but he has already proven he is a hammer.

He could have easily stayed at Ivie all year and hammered big fish. Instead he travels to different lakes and hammers big fish pretty much everywhere he goes.

My only complaint with him is how often he reposts the same videos, with completely false titles such as: Got Disqualified for this? Then you watch the video and there was no disqualification. His content is good enough that he doesn't need to resort to the bogus titles and outright lies.

If his goal is to make it to the Elites, he will get there, and it will be sooner rather than later.

Hope he wins this one, it will make quite a few on here really more sour.

Yep! And the people who know Ben, know. He's a great dude. His co angler had a big bag as well and I promise you Ben gave him some of his deep crankbaits and helped him out. Ben is a genuine dude for sure. So glad to see his success!

His co coming in like he did tells a lot about the dude. When fishing off shore that’s intentional. Especially if he’s scoping.

Bassmaster.com has some pretty cool pictures of him from Day 2. He is using a big glide bait, a plastic swim bait, and a c-rig from what it looks like.

I'm on the opposite side of your thought. Although there are some very sharp looking boats out there (I would consider mine one of them), if someone wants to pay for my boat to be wrapped and protected from the elements for the many years I'll be using it, only to put their advertisement on it. Sign me up... Only going to help with the resale of my boat.

I’ve pulled some wraps off boats and cars. Installed them too. They do NOT protect the finish. They leave a messy goo all over everything. Then, as some are installed, show razor blade slices in the finish from trimming the vinyl sheets.

They are for making money/saving money. That’s it.
