 howdy ya'll Well wanted to get on water before 10am. Headed to East F got to gate { not open till 10/a ;  Turn around, go east Well ok turn off hw 78 goin to Lavonia. NOT road const/ DETOUR back to Mallard, Get on lake & head west past island> So finally fishin at 10 am Hit several places/ nada talked a few guys they were struggling. So by 3;30 had caught 2 legal crappie 1 short, andyella bass??? fished water 12ft to 3 ft Man !!!! Hope ya'll had better luck. BTW no shortage of sunshine0 >

Park road to ramp? It was getting kind of nasty last year in the low spot?

Lake Rd over by the Exxon and 78 is closed due to the redoing the road. That road was terrible through there. Now to get to lavonia you have to go down to the over lake rd entrance by hwy 6

You fished water 3-12 feet, I have not targeted fish in more than 2.5 feet of this year and have no problem catching them.
They are spawning, fish less than 3 feet and you will catch them.

I have found the staging females in 15-22 fow last week. I also found a few wading in less than three foot of water this week. The key is moving right now.

They are spawning right up against the rip rap along the dam, they are also all up in the willows in lakeland and the boys/girls camp cove. It's about as easy as it gets right now on Lavon

 yea u would think so, btw sonar/ is onfritz . I went to snake cove nada several other guys there, not much, fished timber a little wesy / nada, Went to cove N. of Collin /Anchor bay, Nada/0 WEnt back to east side, caught a few. SO question to you Lavon regs.??? you ever done worh a HOOT in Anchor Bay cove. Looks awesome . Never caught ZIP. Thoughts

Nellie yes was fishin 2ft ow just didn't get much, guess I better work on putting my new trsducer on boat.
