I will not by any gun made in Brazil or Turkey. The only brands I know are Taurus and Yildiz and that is enough.

Throw in Argentina because of Bersa.

1938 design by Walther. Built in 1943 by Mauser. Taken off dead Kraut. Cycles great without any FTF or FTE. Now that's good engineering.

Yet it failed the kraut.

It could have been a case of John Browning .45acp vs Carl Walther .9mm woot bolt

Or maybe in the wrong place when a 105mm landed. Who knows about death in war? Maybe the Vikings were on to something when they said your fate is already decided cheers

Don't know if this has already been posted, but I just read a news article about the "Milwaukee police said they're so afraid of their department-issued handguns randomly firing, they won't bring them home near their family"; they are issued the SIG Sauer P320. I guess it is true - I read it on the internet!

Apparently there have been issues with them going off.

Panzer firearms out of Turkey picked up the patton on the Benelli M4. The parts are interchangable and they are a fraction of the price of Benelli.

Hey, does the “AR†in “AR15†stand for Assault Rifle? I had a guy at work claim it meant something else.

I believe you are wrong sir. AR stands for Armalite Rifle.

bersa is an excellent weapon.

A small percentage of Bersas are 100% reliable. The majority of Bersas are 100% unreliable. I have had quite a few folks bring Bersas to my LTC classes. Only a couple were able to qualify to carry. The majority qualified as crab line weights. I was selling firearms in the sixties and in the eighties. Other than the dates, nothing's changed. If you have a reliable Bersa, hang on to it. It's an anomaly.
