Service dogs…I’m not naive enough to know that there aren’t true cases where service dogs are warranted but I’d be willing to bet the vast majority are not.

This one hits close to home! This clown was in my unit…couldn’t hack SERE training and played the system. A bonafide super wounded warrior (who never got qualified or left CONUS). He played that card HARD with his multiple service dogs, even bought his own airplane with all his VA and go fund me money (weird how you can fly without “feeling in your legs & arms, and needing a service dog to alert you to the 100 seizures you have everyday)…Fast forward to now…turns out he didn’t need the service dogs after all. He’s living just fine without them (they aren’t allowed in prison).

Dogs do need to be around crowds to be socialized early on but you can do that anywhere there is a crowd and preferably outdoors.

Having a service dog is fine and legal, the issue is if someone claims their dog is a service animal there's not much that can be done.

We have several pups and other than being taken to the vet's place, they don't go into stores.

Yep. There is an abnormal "furbaby" lust going on and it is getting worse. People have lost sight of the food chain and God's intent for man to have dominion over the the creatures of the earth.

Our HD often has people walking around with dogs that they claim they are acclimating around people. The dogs they have are never small dogs. Hope HD tells them to take a hike after the Colorado incident.

But once again she was well trained by the guy we hired before she had a bad habit of nipping at people’s heels since she is a heeler took some doing but she doesn’t do it anymore after the proper training
I do realize it every dog is trainable for being around people some breeds are not trustworthy

Some dogs owners like to say they like their dogs more than most people. In those cases it's probably safe to say most people like those owners' dogs better than they like the people that own the dogs.
