Question for those who fish lighted docks at night for White Bass in northeast/north central Texas. What time of year do the whites start stacking up under the docks? Is there any parts of the lake better than others (as in north vs south etc)? Any other tips to look for? Thanks in advance!

For Sand Bass I think summer is best for the lights. A green light that you drop in a marina will work, but the best spots will be where there's a mercury light close to the water or the owner of the dock has a green light installed.

I took a friend night fishing a few years back at PK to catch sandies stacking under green lights on Gain Bend. Those lights were running every night and attracted lots of bait and sand bass. He was amazed at how easy the fishing was. I challenged him to try and pull a Jig across the light without catching a sand bass. It was not possible.

Good Luck.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Late September until water reaches 59 degrees. Shad leave at 59. It gets better and better then at 59 it is over.
