Think this was the plan all along once it re-opened. Only time I ever go is December 1 to February 28, although I have heard the summer catfish bite can be great there.

They said this all along, no surprises. I believe they had started it pre covid This was not done pre-Covid. The closure in the summer is new and no reason has been provided.

The lake kinda sucks…it’s only fun when the other lakes suck worse during the winter. Haha

They got it right. For all you anglers fishing from boats, this may be a true statement. But the bank fishing was just starting to get really good and stays good all the way through summer.

They got it right. For all you anglers fishing from boats, this may be a true statement. But the bank fishing was just starting to get really good and stays good all the way through summer. Be happy we get to fish it at all.
