We have a couple of them. The guys use them to clean plastic injection molds while they’re still loaded in the machine.

Moto has used this to clean radiators for me before, very cool and effective process.

Kinda like sandblasting but softer and no clean up. I have seen the same with soda ash also.

We used on our finned oil coolers at the power plant. That way we didn’t have to remove the coolers and soak them to get them clean.

The comment section is interesting to read as a few folks piped up with their comments of using the process.

We are doing all the concrete on a new dry ice factory in Bridgeport, supposed to start in June, was wondering what all the uses for dry ice were, pretty cool.

We had an area at the plant I worked at that used this process to clean a huge area that had almost black 30 ft. walls from their manufacturing process used to bend big iron AKA as swivel joints used in the Fracking process. I was weekend Supervisor and luckily, they did it during the week, but it did a great job with minimal cleanup like you would have had using a pressure washer using water.

Lots of different Blast Media have been used over the years.

We used to use crushed Walnut Hulls in the aircraft business. Just hard enough to remove paint but not damage the aluminum alloy.

I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.
