Had an hour or so to kill spent it fishing the beautiful San Marcos river at Thomason’s Island, also known as John J Stokes park. Caught a couple fish to go along with the amazing water and scenery..

It's very pretty,but if you think it's the prettiest I'm going to guess you have never fished the Frio in Garner SP or the Devils river.

Have been to the Frio, amazing! Devils River is a bucket list thing!

Nice area for sure. Urban fishing holds some very nice treasures.

Texas is full of prettiest spots.

It does look nice, but there are a ton of spots around the state that look like that.

The Devils is a beautiful place. I have done the 3 day trip and you will never forget it.

There are several beautiful spots on Caddo Lake, especially late spring. My "go to" pretty spot would be a creek I fish way out in the boonies. All I hear are songbirds and the flowing water coupled with beautiful scenery.
