If you could go bass fishing anywhere in the US in June where would you go?

Lake Vermillion in northern Minnesota. I'd not only fish for bass, but also northern pike.

Never been to Lake Vermillion but I have fished in northern Minnesota and Ontario and it is beautiful up there. Walleye is the best tasting fresh water fish imo.

Florida to chase big largemouth or Great Lakes for big smallies??? I would go for the Great Lakes just because you can not get anything close to that experience in Texas!

Yah, from a TX guy that went to Mille Lacs a few years ago in August for ten days (50th birthday) because I had never caught a Smallie except on Amistad................. go North for smallies. Crazy fun.

Did you post my Bio? JK my only smallmouth were dinks on Amistad as well! My boat captain AKA my wife caught a 2 pounder on Ivie a year or two before the lake came back up! She also caught a 7 something LM that weekend and my big was 3.5 pounds or so largemouth lol! We had a trip booked and planned for the bigO last year and had to cancel because of work. I will fish there before I croak but if you were going north what is the primo smallmouth spot???

Mille Lacs was literally "fishing for dummies" easy to get on Smallmouth and walleye. On the days that the wind would not allow, I was given knowledge by a local on here of a small lake 30 or so minutes away where we actually caught, and lost ( cry) our biggest fish of the trip.

St Clair in July and August is beyond ridiculous. Fishing is off the hook, catch some Detroit Tigers baseball, plenty of great food and great people in Detroit, 3 big casinos for gambling, leave the texas heat, great time.
