I did not read that the committee or any court changed the sentence. As usual, take a situation. Any situation. Add poo and just like that a criminal becomes a hero. He got out early from prison and went to a halfway house. Sounds to me like he did what a lot of criminals do...... You?

I don't call it justice at all. A guy plead guilty to a trumped up farce of a charge because he knew in the current political climate he was about to be crucified. Getting released early is not justice. Being pardoned, having his record expunged, and an apology from the DA would be a measure of justice, and then he should be compensated for the past two years of confinement.

He should have robbed and killed a woman with kids in Houston. He would have gotten out the same day.
