Going to Bridgeport Wed. Havent been in a couple of years is there any good reports on where to go. Fishing for sandies and hybyrds

I am not an expert on Bridgeport but we have caught fish around the Islands and the East side around the dam both north and south. I have no experience in the river area or the south side of the bridge. Hybrids were caught around the island north of the runaway bay boat ramp. Sorry for late info.

For stripers - Live Shad about 25-30 feet has been the rule.
Black Bass - I used a chartreuse colored jig with a spinner and caught a few decent fish off the rocks on the West side of the northern part of the lake.
Sandies - never saw any.
