A Steez CT SV will cast a weightless worm or fluke with ease. Almost impossible to overrun the spool. It’s is extremely light and the brakes are phenomenal. They simply work. They are pricey, but they are some of the worlds best reels made. +1 on this. Also your rod choice makes a big difference in the ability to cast lightweight lures . I'm not a Falcon fan but their Weightless Worm rod is a good choice for this. A 6' 8" NRX 852 would be the cat's meow but not many guys willing to pop $1K for a combo rig.

I agree about the rod and line playing a major role...I had a st croix scv 5 built...it is a medium heavy moderate fast and it loads up nicely....fo the line I use 15lb seguar abrazx .
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

The reel may not be the problem or at least it may not be the only problem. The rod you use for weightless baits like senko's or wacky worms plays a big part. Also the line you use is a factor also. Yes exactly I use a dobyns fury 733 works like a charm.

The is rod is important. In fact, I was using a black max this past Sun for my senkos and it did well. Not as good as my Lews or Revos, but good.
It is new and I purchased as a throw down for guest. I needed to OPS check it.

Other option and it is a good one is a nice spinning reel and rod. I throw weightless on baitcasting gear most of the time but have a nice Stradic and Loomis GLX set up that is a killer for the presentation. Yep. It’s one of the reasons I carry my fairy wand.

Another that thinks rod selection is way more important than reel selection for light lures.
IMO many MH/Fast rods are too stiff. That is my favorite application for my Ducketts. Their MH/Fast rods feel a little softer than all my other MH/H rods. So I use them almost exclusively for light T-Rigs, small shakey heads, and weightless flukes/senko's.
I can launch a weightless senko on my duckets with a revo SX as far as I care to cast them. While I love my SXs, I think the rod is more important. I also wouldn't go heaver than 15 lb fluoro if you must, 12 lb is better IMO when you can get away with it.
