That boat rigged out will be well over $100K
Msrp 85k, that’s with 2 garmins, livescope, force trolling motor, dual poles, trailer upgrades, etc.
https://www.tritonboats.com/fiberglass/20xp.build.html

I built one with everything my 2022 Bass Cat has on it and it came out to be $92K before taxes or rigging.

So it will be a little over $100K out the door.

It's a cool boat, too bad it's a Johnny Morris model. The consoles look like a nitro console
I guess I don’t get the Johnny morris comments. Dollar for dollar they build a good product- more often than not people are comparing something that cost half as much and expect it to be equal, their upper end boats get pretty nice while being a decent value.

I owned 2 Bentz Tritons and I can guarantee the build quality of Triton has gone down since JM bought the brand. Same with Rangers, not the same as pre JM. I did not say the boats are bad or junk, it's just my opinion the "higher end" brands he bought are not the same build quality of the originals.

I owned one of the very first Tritons made, serial #24 a TR-21PD single console. Tackle tray glued in crooked and couldn’t use one of the slots, gel coat cracks all over the console before it ever hit the water, all the livewell plumbing leaked because fittings weren’t tight and hose clamps loose, throttle cable was wrong length and stuck because the excess was coiled up too tight. Tell me again how great Earls boats were.

I owned 7 new Triton boats, had not one major issue, no cracks, nothing, great fishing platform, great layout, ran like a S O B.

Is this an Ikon or Triton thread, I’m confused. And how are those 2 boats even in the same conversation? Did Triton ever fix the gas smell in the rod lockers?

It is easy to go down rabbit holes on some of these threads, hell the topic of Bass Cat or pliers, or FFS could come up too lol.

This is the way to do it. Buy a new boat, get what you want, keep it a long time

We got our 1997 Triton brand new. Never had a single "boat" issue. Put on one VRO pump and one power pack on the Evinrude Intruder...that's it.

Smacked a few stumps really, really hard and had a couple fiberglass repairs from those, but have hit plenty of stumps really hard and never had a scratch from them.

It's my fault - My comment about the pricing correlated to Nitro and the fact that BPS Garland didn't have any new model Tritons... There's your reason from my spaghetti brain. roflmao

So like legend couldn’t sell enough to stay in business

That makes zero sense. This company has been around for years and years. Legend had maybe a decade or so.

JM didn't kill Legend and ProCraft. Poor sales killed them. Legend and ProCraft killed themselves. Kinda like blaming Ranger for killing Champion. Champion killed Champion.

the boat companies that are gone it is for one reason demand of folks to buy retail boats some of the companies thought that if every third boat was a team boat they could make it. the reason tis is true is because long time builder has popped several champion models everybody is waiting with baited breath til they come out an see the price an they cant sell 50 boats a year.
