When do you say the white bass spawn ends? From my experience last year, that may be the beginning of April.

Depends on what Lake or River your are talking about ? same type of question came up on Bass spawn.
Texas is a big state, I am sure it is winding down on some rivers and creeks but others will go well into mid-April or later.
Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

Typically for North Texas, it slows down about mid to late April for me

It depends. I have some locations in east texas where I catch sandbass by the hundreds with around New Years while I’m knocking ice off my rods. I’ve seen the run end in early April, I’ve seen it peak in mid April. Here in north texas right now, late March or early April is usually peak time to be fishing for sandbass, though I’ve seen it taper out on in to may before. They’re really an unpredictable fish when it comes to when they show up and when they leave. Last year was one of the shorter seasons I’ve experienced. Most creeks they were done by the first week of April, which is highly unusual.
