Most of the lakes around here are part of the Trinity river system and have gators. I took a photo of a 10' one at Lewisville four years ago. It was near the dam.

I think 5 or 6 years ago, somebody had photos of a small one on Grapevine. My son seen one in the back of trash creek on Arlington. I have seen you tube videos for a gator on Arlington as well.

I’ve had two in my pond about 200 yards from my house. One looked to be about 9’, the other looked to be about 7’.

I know a guy who swears he saw on in the Trinity at Royal Lane... Yup in Irving. This was in 2009.

Felt like a tall tale but Ive known him since then and he has proven to be an honest man and his story has not changed to this day.

So there you have it. Right there in the heart of Irving which makes me think nothing is off limits.

I recall there was a report verified by State Troopers of one walking across 35E near Denton Creek just north of the Speedway a few years ago. Maybe even last year.

This one was on the county road by my house. Over a half a mile in any direction from water. (From a couple years ago)

Can't find the post on F.B. Have spent a lot of time in the upper ends, never seen one, but I would bet that there are a few.

I know there have been several reports of alligators around Ardmore, OK. So I figure there are plenty between there and DFW
