Are the crappie up shallow spawning in the DFW area yet? Has anyone been out and had any luck lately on any of the lakes or creeks in the area?

Caught some white bass over in one of the creeks at Benbrook lake. Saw a guy having some success with crappie too up shallow.

Caught a couple limits from Dfw creek this week. Warmth will only make it better

I caught 10 nice crappie in the creek yesterday, but they weren't shallow yet. I was fishing jigs about 8' deep on structure. Hour north of dfw.

I have not had much luck but as many have mentioned this is go time for the creeks and next few weeks should be good, get out there and fish good luck.

Caught 3 in 5-8 FOW. They were both males and hit like a jack hammer. So fun. Fished 12 trees and 3 had something on them. Wind was calm until about 7:00.
You ain’t gonna catch any sittin’ on the couch.

It’s on shallow in the sticks. Get your waders on. Fishing in about 1.5’ of water with 10’ rod and multi color 1/8 oz roadrunner with black/chartreuse joker was king! Lots of snakes out as well… pescados are there!
