I see that the Power Pole group is releasing a line of trolling motors. It looks like they have a trolling motor on a conventional fold up mount (ZR), but I can't figure out the PV (saltwater?) model. What are those two arms on the front of the mount that extend over the rub rails of the boat???? Why didn't they just make a saltwater (white) version of the ZR???

It’s just the cradle for when it’s deployed. The small mount on it is popular with bay boats kind like the Terranova or Xi5.

I found a video. The PV mount has a feature where you step on a lever and pull up the TM. Both mounts can be used for salt water or fresh water. I still don't know what the thrust rating is.
