Spun a hub/bearings coming back from the lake yesterday. Luckily close to the house and didn't lose a tire. I do not have any experience with the Vault system but from what I have read should be serviced by qualified personal or voids warranty. Are there any big plus's to stick with this system over switching over the like buddy bearing system...other than having 3 Vaults and 1 BB or being able t do myself vs a shop Recommendation on Trailer Shop?

If you can service a bearing buddy type setup you can service the vault system. You just need to order the dexter vault grease, the cap if it is lost or damaged, and a grease zerk to put the grease in. If you reuse the caps you will need to order the O ring for the cap. I was able to reuse all the caps on mine. You can match both bearings and the seal at oriellys. The biggest pain on mine is you have to take the brake caliper bracket off the trailer. The actual bearing part of the work can be done in just a few minutes. Getting the bolts out of the caliper bracket took a pretty good cheater pipe and some time.
I'm not convinced that the vault system is really any better than just the standard bearing setup. If they let me pick when building the trailer I wouldn't choose the vault system, but that is mainly because the parts and grease are special order. On a standard bearing setup you can get the parts and grease pretty much anywhere you are..

Double check your lug nuts after picking it up, before leaving the parking lot.

All boat trailer hubs are junk. If it's attached to a boat trailer it is by definition junk. I don't care what brand trailer, what brand boat, they are all junk.

I converted my 2015 Skeeter trailer (EZ Loader) over to regular grease hubs shortly after I bought it 1.5 years ago. I had one hub leaked. Did a little researching seemed like if the trailer sits a lot which mine does that regular grease may be better. Also the fact that if the vault oil leaks out you don't have much time to catch. Hence I converted mine over. If I was using the trailer a lot, I would have stuck with vault. Nether one seems overly complex once you learn how to deal with tapered roller bearings.

oil hubs on a boat trailer are a bad idea imo, problem waiting to happen.
knock a hub off and oil is gone, hub burns up.
knock a bearing buddy off and grease will most likely get you home.
jmo
carry a small grease gun so you have one if needed, also handy for lubing the outboard.
