 Minn Kota Riptide Fortex Mount

I may have to buy a new trolling motor in the near future. For my usage, my choice would be a Minn Kota Riptide Fortrex with a 52" shaft. Unfortunately, the 52" is "unavailable" right now. I may have to wind up buying a 62" and cutting the shaft down. My question is "are the 52" and 62" mounts the same length?

Different paint process, screws and mount parts are different material. Won`t hold up in saltwater
