Going to order a SB rod, help me decide. Throwing 2 to 5 oz +/- SB's. Let's hear it folks. It's my birthday, momma's in a good mood, and I'm getting (almost) everything I'm asking for.

I have the irod jr swim and the heavy swim. They are great. With your specification of going up to 5oz, this is above the limit of the irod jr swim (I prefer the jr swim to the heavy swim). If your upper limit was 4oz, I’d say irod jr swim hands down/no question. I throw all my big swimbaits and A-rigs on the Dobyns 795 SB. It’s a great rod and handles baits up to 5oz with ease. Can’t hardly beat the price either!

Wondering if all these swimbait questions ever paid off with fish catches? Club tournament on Amistad 4/1 & 4/2 and I'll be throwing those swim baits. We'll see what happens!
